Dear Parents, Carers and Governors
Congratulations to our Choir who sang at the Witney Lights switch on last Friday. I have been told that they were amazing and we have had so many compliments about them. Well done folks – great effort. Looking forward to the O2 in February! Thank you Mrs McPherson, Ms Evans and Mrs Noble for preparing them and taking them.
Thank you to everyone who supported the Choir Bake Sale a couple of weeks ago. We raised £145 towards the O2 trip which is fantastic.
Key Stage 1 will be holding 2 concerts on Tuesday 12th December; one at 1.30pm and the other at 6.00pm. Both concerts will be identical.
We will be organising crèche facilities for the Key Stage 1 and 2 concerts and we would like to encourage parents to use this option for pre-school children and babies. Your children having been working very hard to prepare for the concerts and our PA system is not good enough to capture all the little voices that we hope you will hear. Please ring the school office to book. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note that school clubs will end next Friday. A list of clubs for the Spring half term is out today. Please note that the closing date for these is next Wednesday morning and we cannot process applications beyond that time.
If your child did not get into the Monday Art Club and could not attend Friday Art Club and he/she would like to apply for Art Club again please indicate on the reply slip that they are on the waiting list.
The children had a great time at the pantomime last week and this week – oh yes they did! Thank you so much to the PTA for funding the buses to Chipping Norton for us. It is a very special day out.

Please come and support your local community event.
Mrs Clare Collins
I am thrilled and delighted to tell you that Mrs Collins will not be leaving us at Christmas. Mrs Collins has decided that she would like to continue working at Madley Brook School and we have welcomed this decision with open arms. Mrs Collins will continue to work full time up until the end of March until Miss Emma Cuthbertson returns from maternity and will be joining the Key Stage 1 Team and sharing the class with Mrs Collins. Good news all round.
