Dear Parents, Carers and Governors
Congratulations to our swimming team who entered the swimming gala last week. They all showed excellent positivity and perseverance. Sophie Blacker and Thomas Hirth both won their races.
The boys came 8th overall and the girls came 5th overall. Well done everyone.
Years 5 and 6
Year 5 and 6 have a great treat in store! On Wednesday 31st January they are going to watch High School Musical performed by students at Henry Box School. They will be leaving school at 9.45am to walk there and will return for 3pm. Children will need a packed lunch that day in a disposable bag. Drinks will be provided by the school. We will also need 4 or 5 parent helpers for the day. If anyone is able to help please speak to Mrs Robinson
Please find a letter attached inviting you to a workshop about keeping your children safe when using on-line devices.
Year 6 Residential
The final payment for the trip to Kilvrough in March is due by 2nd February.
The Barrowers will be working again in the Sensory and wildlife gardens and hope you can join them this Saturday 20th January 10am to 12pm.
Please park in the Co-Op car park and enter through KS1 gate. Refreshments provided. Some equipment provided but advise you bring your own secateurs, pruning tools and garden gloves. Looking forward to seeing you and thank you in advance for your support.
We would like to make playgrounds a little more exciting and enriching for children and are going to encourage them to start building dens. To be able to achieve this we are asking if you could kindly donate:
• old sheets or shower curtains
• 3 to 5ft plastic or smooth wooden posts
• quick setting cement (to make portable supports)
If you are able to donate any of the above please could you hand it into the school office. Thank you.
