Mrs Burnett, Assistant Head Teacher and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) will also be available, so please pop in for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat if you need any advice.

Read Write Inc

As part of our commitment to delivering the Read Write Inc programme we engage in Development Days three times a year where the consultant comes to visit and carries out an audit of our work through observations and consultancy. I am delighted to say that during her visit this week she had nothing but praise for the quality of teaching from all our teachers and teaching assistants who deliver the programme to groups of children from Reception to Lower Key Stage 2. This is testament to the hard work put in by all our staff involved in RWI and I thank each and every one for the commitment they give. Also to parents of children on the programme for the great support you give your children at home by reinforcing the reading books and the sound cards. It really does make a difference to children’s progress.
