Our Current Value is: Respect
Dear Parents and Carers
What a wonderful day the choir and accompanying staff had in London on Tuesday. We joined over 8,000 other school children for a festival of Young Voices. Our children sang their hearts out, danced the night away (with Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet!) and enjoyed a truly amazing and memorable experience. It was a pleasure to spend the day with this superb group of children who represented our school so well. My sincere thanks go to the staff who have worked with the children over the last few months to prepare them for the concert; Miss Fillary and Mrs Noble all led by our extremely talented choir leader Mrs McPherson. Thanks to Mrs Edwards who joined us at the last minute for the concert too. And very well done to the children who made it to school on Wednesday morning. We were all a little jaded!
To the group of parents who came and helped us to clear the snow on Sunday to get the grounds ready for Monday. Your time was very much appreciated.
Birch Class will now hold their class assembly on Friday 15th March at 2.30pm
Nursery and Reception children attending the disco this afternoon will be taken straight to the hall after school. Parents can pick up at 4pm at the back door of the hall.
Parents of children in KS1 and 2 attending the disco will need to drop off and pick up from the back door of the hall. The disco starts at 4.30pm and ends at 6.00pm
The list for clubs has come out today. Please return slips by Tuesday next week. Mr Curtis is going to run the STEM club again, this time for Year 4 children. There were a lot of children on our waiting list and they will be given priority if they apply again. It would be helpful if you could mark waiting list on the reply slip.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the gardening project with their green or flowery clothes today. You raised an amazing £500 which is enough to buy the top soil for the planting beds. Many thanks to everyone.
