Dear Parents and Carers

At last some spring like sun; it certainly puts a spring in your step!

Please find attached our latest Values Newsletter. We are really starting to notice the children using the language of our values more often in school and hope that they carry this on at home. We are always encouraging the children to believe in themselves and to persevere and we try to praise their effort far more rather than just the outcome. Telling a child that they have worked hard, not given up and challenged themselves well has a much longer impact on their ability to do their best rather than just telling them they are good or clever. There is a lot of research to support this theory which we are looking into as we try to develop growth mindsets in our children, and in ourselves. It is all very interesting.

Tri Sports Camp
Attached to the newsletter is flyer advertising an Easter Sports Camp at the school. I have met with the organisation, one of whom is an ex pupil, and they are very keen and enthusiastic to get started. We can collect payments on your behalf if you wish to pay by cash or cheque.

100 Club
This month’s 100 Club was drawn in the presence of the Breakfast Club Team.
