Dear Parents and Carers

What a delightful evening Year 2 parents had last week when the children performed at the Witney Partnership concert at Wood Green. They joined Year 2 children from other schools in Witney and sang their hearts out. We are very proud of them.

Easter Eggstravaganza
Next Thursday straight after school the PTA are holding their Easter Eggstravaganza in the hall. Children may have a non-uniform day on Thursday in exchange for an Easter Egg for the tombola.

Year 6
It was great to see Year 6 back at school this week following their week of adventures at Kilvrough Manor. All the staff returned saying they were an amazing group of children to take away as they challenged themselves to the limit and were extremely well behaved. It was also lovely to see so many children approach the staff as they were leaving on Friday night to thank them for taking them away. What great children we have here at Madley Brook!

Healthy Tuck Shop
Years 5 and 6 have been planning their healthy tuck shop which will take place next Thursday at morning break. Children from Reception upwards can purchase items which are all priced under 50p. Please note Tuck Shop cards can’t be used and children will need to bring cash.
The children will be going to Sainsbury’s on Wednesday afternoon to buy their ingredients.

River Trip
Years 5 and 6 will be walking down to the Windrush on Tuesday afternoon to carry out a river study.
Library Books
Please could all children return library books next week so we can do a stock check.

Lost Property
This will be on display outside the main office on Thursday after school. Please do come along and have a look to see if anything belongs to your child.

Clubs
We only have a small number of clubs on offer next term. Please could you return your slips on Tuesday next week, not Wednesday as usual.

Madley’s Got Talent
The final of Madley’s got Talent is being held next Thursday afternoon.

Gymnastics
Children from KS1, LKS2 and UKS2 took part in a gymnastics competition on Thursday. All children worked extremely hard in and out of school to learn their routines and did us proud on the day. Well done to all who took part.
