Dear Parents, Carers and Governors

If you attended the circus last night then I am guessing that you had a really good time. Feedback from many people is that they really enjoyed the occasion and how lucky were we with the weather. Not too hot and not too cold. Just perfect (although I believe it was pretty warm in the actual tent!)

The circus has been 3 years in the planning – and how quickly that time has come around. Whilst the physical jobs were not as great as they would have been had we put on a summer fair, the meetings, discussions, decisions, risk assessments and organisation has been pretty intense. But well worth it in the end.

I would like to extend a personal thank you to the members of the PTA who have organised this event, for the time they have given, and the meetings they have attended over the last year. We have a great group of volunteers who have done a splendid job – thank you. And thank you too to all the families who supported us. I have heard a few ‘whoop whoops’ as the children have been coming into class this morning – let’s see how long that goes on before it starts to annoy!

Years 5 and 6
Years 5 and 6 will be performing their end of term play on the evening of Monday July 17th at 6.00pm. we hope that all Upper Key Stage 2 parents will be able to join us for this occasion.

Year 6 will also have a Leavers’ Party on Wednesday 19th July from 5.30pm to 7.00pm. They will enjoy a BBQ in the sunshine outside the Studio. A list will be put up in the classrooms asking for donations although the school will provide the meat courtesy of the PTA.
