Dear Parents and Carers
On Wednesday afternoon a group of 10 Year 3 and 4 children played in the West Oxfordshire Football Tournament. The children all put in maximum effort and showed great team work and sportsmanship which was the school games value for this event. They won 3 out of 5 games and came second in their pool. Well done to all of those who took part.
We will be holding parent/teacher consultations in the week beginning 5th November for children in Years 1 to 6. The on line booking system will go live on Monday 29th October at 9am.
Parents of children with Special Needs (for a double appointment time), or parents who require two separate appointments will need to phone the school office on Thursday 18th or Friday 19th October and ask to speak to Beth. Beth will have to manually book these appointments as the system allows only one booking per child. All meetings will take place in your child’s classroom and work will be available for you to look at outside the classroom prior to your appointment.
Secondary School Applications
The closing date for secondary school applications is 31st October. Please apply on line via the Oxfordshire County Council website. If you are moving area or your child is going to a private school please could you let admissions know in writing so they can remove your child from the system. Alternatively you could write to the school (or email) and we will forward your information.
The Clubs list for Autumn Term 2 is out today. Please return all slips by Wednesday at the latest. Any forms returned after this date will not be processed. Please note clubs run for 6 weeks and will end on Friday 7th December to make way for Christmas activities.
