Dear Parents and Carers

Eight children from Years 5 and 6 played in the B team Hockey Tournament this week. They did themselves proud during all matches. The School Games focus was teamwork and they really did work so well together. They came 2nd in their pool. They won one, drew one and lost one. Great sportsmanship was shown throughout.

Eight children from Upper Key Stage 2 took part in the Cross Country competition on Thursday. They really pushed themselves to run the 2000m and it was clear to see that they are really passionate about running. The value was self-belief and all of them showed this throughout the morning.  James Bishop came 3rd in the ‘Boys Under 11s’ category receiving a bronze medal and the boys came overall 2nd which means they will go through to the next round. An excellent achievement all round.
