Our Current Value is: Aspiration

Dear Parents and Carers

Term is just flying by!

Lunchtime Supervisor

We still have a vacancy for a lunchtime supervisor and the application form is on our website.  We also have vacancies for anyone who does not want to commit to every day but would be willing to go on our casual list so we can call on you when we are short staffed.  If you are interested in this, you will still need to go through the same recruitment process, unless you are a current volunteer,  but can work as and when.  Do get in touch if you want to know more about this.

The Early Years Team would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to Mr Bathgate for making 3 amazing wooden welly racks for our nursery class. They look very smart and will help us keep our cloakroom area nice and tidy. We love them, thank you!

Reading Diaries

You will have noticed that there is only space for 5 reading entries in the new diaries.  If children read for 7 days then they can either fill up the space on the opposite page if there is room or add Saturday and Sunday to the bottom of the page.  You don’t have to follow the days of the week on the reading page – just write in the next box and date it rather than leave a box blank.

Upper Key Stage 2 would love some volunteers to come and do their reading diary administration once a week.  If you can help out, please let Mrs Robinson or the school office know and pick up a volunteer pack if you are not already registered with us.

Lost Kit and Uniform

Mia Edwards in Year 3 has lost her entire school uniform, including shoes, and winter PE kit.  It was last seen at Hockey Club on Wednesday.   It is all in a blue Joules bag with pink drawstrings and unicorn pattern.  It may have been mistakenly mixed up with another child’s bag / kit.  Please can you look to see if this has happened.  Many thanks for your cooperation.

School Packed Lunches

Next week will be the last week for ordering school packed lunches.

Use of Photographs

There are lots of occasions when parents join the school for activities and events and we hope that taking photographs of your child helps form their memories of their school days.  You are free to take photos at assemblies, concerts, sports days etc but please keep these for your own personal use and do not publish them on any social media without the prior consent of the parents of all the children in the photographs.
