Our Current Value is: Respect
Dear Parents and Carers
On Friday, it was the final between Madley Brook and West Witney at Madley Brook and our team included: Gabriel, Ned, James, Ethan, Matthew, Jayden, Max, Cameron and Finley. We were all overwhelmed with excitement to play and we started at 3pm. Unfortunately, after 40 minutes, we lost 2-0 and came second out of 16 schools. We were proud to represent our school.

Well done team! KS
Year 6 SATs
There will be a meeting for parents of children in Year 6 to discuss the SATs on Wednesday 11th March at 6pm in the school hall. Revision books for home practice are now available for purchase and Mrs Robinson will be emailing parents with details of this.
Are you free? We have a willing bunch of Mums who come into school each week to count the number of reads in the children’s reading diaries. This is invaluable as it ensures your children receive their certificates at the appropriate time, and enables Teaching Assistants to continue their support of pupils, rather than being taken out of class to do this job. If you feel you could give up an hour or two once a week, at a time to suit you, please could you let Mrs Burnett or your child’s class teacher know, as we would like at least one extra person to help out. This would be subject to a DBS check if you have not already had one. Dads, grandparents and carers also welcome! Thank you. SAVE THE KOALAS! The Bronze Barrow school council, would like to raise some money to help the adorable animals of Australia, who have suffered recently due to the terrible bush fires and heavy flooding. On Tuesday 28th January at 3.00pm, there will be a bake sale in the red playground. Small cakes will cost 30p and slices 50p. We would love you to donate cakes for this event and get baking to help this amazing cause. Please bring in cakes on the morning of the 28th, either to the office or your child’s classroom. Many thanks Freya Nickson – Willow Class rep.
On line Payments
We have discussed for some time and had requests from some parents that we move to an on line payment system for dinner money, school trips etc.
We have launched a survey today to determine what demand there would be for this.
If you can please take less than a minute to complete the following survey. Many thanks:
